How does Kibler's Gunstock Sealer & Finish compare to the old Permalyn Sealer?

Kibler's Gunstock Sealer & Finish is a tung oil based product. Compared to the old Permalyn Sealer from Laurel Mountain Forge, it feels a bit more modern, dries a little harder, is less flexible, and is slightly less waterproof. Permalyn Sealer is no longer manufactured.
