What finish does Kibler's recommend for a gunstock?

Kibler's recommends two finishes. Kibler Gunstock Sealer and Finish, which we make and sell, is a tung-oil based product that is durable, dries fast, and is easy to use. Tried & True Varnish Oil is a more traditional linseed-oil based finish with rosin added, partially polymerized so it cures faster than plain linseed oil. Hardware store linseed oil is not recommended.
