standing breech fitting

Before shaving any wood, tap the standing breech with a mallet to ensure it is fully seated and not being held off by debris in the corners. If a very small adjustment is still needed, carefully shave a tiny amount of wood off the breech face using very sharp chisels and transfer color to guide your cuts.
