Nose cap screw: It won't start, the threaded hole looks misaligned, what do I do?

Intentional. The tapped hole is offset slightly forward so that as the screw tightens, it pulls the cap rearward into position. Push down on the screw with the driver and tighten, it will start with little trouble.
