trigger sticking

To resolve a sticking trigger, first sand and polish the sides of the trigger to ensure it moves freely in the trigger plate. Next, check for wood interference in the inlet by applying transfer color to the trigger, installing and moving it, and checking for color transfer on the wood. Finally, ensure the trigger pin moves freely in the hole; if the hole was distorted during alignment, you can sand and polish the pin or run a 1/16" drill bit through the trigger hole to clean up any roughness.
