lock troubleshooting

Inspect the lock's function outside of the stock first, then compare how it feels and sounds when installed inside the stock. If it sounds fine outside the stock and seems to function fine outside the stock, there may be some sort of wood interference when its installed. Use transfer color to find the wood and carefully shave it down. If it does not function properly in both scenarios, it may need to be returned for repair.
