stock grain and breakage

Muzzleloader stocks should not break easily from a simple fall. If a break occurs at the wrist from a minor fall, it is typically due to non-ideal grain direction in the wood, which can sometimes be difficult to identify in maple during manufacturing. A stock with proper grain flow is much more resilient, and a broken stock can often be repaired or replaced. Contact customer service if this happens to you.
