Trigger guard: How do I install it?

If the front doesn't go in you have two choices. 1) File a small amount from the sides of the guard extension while maintining a small draft angle. 2) Use transfer color on the guard to indicate wood that is preventing the guard from seating in the stock. Trim this material with a sharp chisel, gauge, or knife. In general, insert the front of the guard fully into the inlet first, and then tap the rear of the guard into place.
