Kibler's Longrifles Knowledge Base

Why does the wood humidity level matter when Kibler's machines the stocks?

Stocks are CNC-machined in an environment controlled to around 38 percent humidity to control the size of the wood. Once a kit ships to a different climate, like Arizona or Louisiana, the wood can move slightly, which is why Kibler's checks that every barrel fits before a rifle leaves the shop.
