Why does the Woodsrunner rifle look different from a typical longrifle?
The Woodsrunner has a lot of Fowler and trade gun architecture mixed with rifle features. It has a tall breech, a wrist that tapers hard down toward the comb, and significant taper forward of the lock, all Fowler and trade gun characteristics, while still having a rifle's flat toe, rifle trigger guard, cheek piece, patch box, and rifled barrel.
