Why do some Kibler barrels get rifled in house instead of by the barrel maker?
Barrel blanks that are 40 caliber and below arrive unrifled from the manufacturer, because the barrel makers prefer not to rifle anything in that caliber range. Kibler's developed its own single point cut rifling process in house to handle those smaller calibers.
