Twist rate varies by barrel supplier. In 45 caliber, a Rice barrel is typically 1 in 48 twist, while a Green Mountain barrel in that caliber is typically 1 in 70. In 50 caliber and up, twist will be 1 in 56 from Colerain, 1 in 66 from Rice, or 1 in 70 from Green Mountain.
