What twist rate do the Hawken barrels use, and is it good for round ball?
The 50 and 54 caliber Hawken barrels, generally sourced from Colerain, use a 1 in 56 inch twist. This twist works very well for shooting round ball, which is what Kibler's recommends. These barrels are not designed to shoot conicals.
