Kibler's Longrifles Knowledge Base

What makes the Fowler's barrel difficult to manufacture?

The Fowler uses thin walled, three stage round barrels, with a wall thickness around seventy thousandths on a sixteen gauge barrel, which is thin and can be tricky to turn on a lathe. Kibler's had to modify some of its machines to be able to produce these barrels while still getting a lightweight result with a nice surface finish.
