What is unique about the patch box cavity on the Woodsrunner?

The patch box cavity is rounded rather than having a typical pulled dovetail, with a radius at the bottom and the dovetail formed into that curve. This is a characteristic of the original rifle and is more of a challenge to machine, but some builders believe a rounded cavity is less prone to sticking in humid weather since there is no force on the bottom of the lid.
