Kibler's Longrifles Knowledge Base

There is a hole between the lock inlet and the barrel channel on my stock. Is that a defect?

That hole is not a problem, it is part of how the rifle is designed. Every stock has it, and it exists as clearance for the mainspring where the wood often gets thin. It does not weaken the stock and is not a reason for concern.
