Do the touch holes on Kibler's locks sit at the bottom of the pan, and can that cause hang fires?
Kibler's touch holes are not at the bottom of the pan but near the bottom of it. Some believe a touch hole must be clear at the top of the pan to work well, but testing by Larry Pletcher has shown there is very little difference in performance based on touch hole position as long as it is not placed too high, and Kibler's has good experience with how its touch holes are positioned.
