How much slack should there be in the triggers on a flintlock?
There should be a small amount of slack before the trigger contacts the sear, both at half cock and full cock. Triggers are paired and adjusted to each individual lock ahead of time since the sear position varies slightly from lock to lock, but the fit should still be checked on installation.
