Do Kibler's locks fit the mortises of rifles that originally had Chambers locks?
No. When Kibler's designed its locks, they started from the ground up and made them to their own specifications, which means the outside dimensions differ from Chambers locks and other older locks. They are not intended as drop-in replacements for mortises cut for those other locks.
