What is the Woodsrunner rifle based on?
The Woodsrunner is based on a rifle, or a couple of rifles, believed to have been made in the Valley of Virginia, probably during the 1760s or 1770s. It got its name from a modern day collector who held onto the original rifle for a long time and named it, and the name stuck in the collecting community.
