Kibler's Longrifles Knowledge Base

What got Jim Kibler interested in building longrifles?

Jim got interested around age 15. His family was interested in antiques and lived in old historic houses, and he always liked building things. His dad had bought an old half stock rifle made by a local gunsmith, and his grandparents had an old CVA rifle kit that belonged to his uncle but had never been assembled, so Jim put it together and shot it. He also studied the gun making sections of the Foxfire book series, which covered builders like Hershel House and Jim Chambers.
