Why is the breech area of the barrel channel rounded when a stock first comes off the CNC machine?
Router bits do not cut perfectly square inside corners, so the breech end of the barrel channel comes off the machine slightly rounded. Kibler's squares this up by hand with a chisel before the stock ships, rather than leaving that task for the customer.
