Why doesn't Kibler's use a form or press to straighten buttplate castings instead of doing it by hand?
Forms or presses do not work well for this because the metal has spring back, meaning it does not hold the exact shape once pressure is released. Careful hand bending and adjustment is still the more reliable method.
