Kibler's Longrifles Knowledge Base

Why does Kibler's let stock blanks sit around before using them?

Kibler's buys wood in board form and blanks it out slightly oversized to their patterns, then lets the blanks sit for a while before use. This allows them to acclimate to the shop environment and helps relieve stress in the wood, so it is a good practice to keep a lot of blanks on hand.
