Why do some parts, like the butt plate and trigger guard, come pre-installed on the Woodsrunner stock?
The butt plate is left in place because it is used to locate and drill the bottom screw hole, which could not be added during machining. The trigger guard and entry pipe are pre-installed because they can be bent slightly and are sometimes tricky for builders to fit, so Kibler's takes care of getting them started.
