Kibler's Longrifles Knowledge Base

Why did Kibler's move from cast nose caps and butt plates to machined ones on the Woodsrunner?

Castings can vary and often require fitting work by the builder. To get a tighter, more consistent fit and finish, Kibler's machines the nose cap from bar stock and the butt plate from a sand cast brass preform, rather than relying on castings alone.
