What tools do I need to assemble a Hawken rifle kit?
Assembly does not require many tools or a large investment. A few chisels are useful, such as a half inch and a quarter inch chisel and a skew chisel sharpened like a knife (an X-acto knife works too). An 8 inch mill file, a half round file, a flat file, and a round file (used as a punch) cover most fitting tasks. A couple of screwdrivers, a brass hammer with a nylon tip, vise grips, and a sanding block with sandpaper round out the kit.
