Kibler's Longrifles Knowledge Base

What is the single most significant thing I can do to make a Colonial rifle kit stand out?

Carving is the most significant thing a builder can do to make a Colonial kit stand out. Even simple carving, such as lock moldings, a toe line, or carving around the comb, adds a lot as long as it fits the style of the rifle and is well executed, so studying original colonial American work and books on the subject is recommended.
