Kibler's Longrifles Knowledge Base

What is a mallet used for when assembling a Kibler's kit?

A mallet is used to tap the barrel into place when fitting it, such as tapping at the breech to make sure it is fully seated or tapping at the muzzle to make sure the breech is all the way back. A hard maple mallet with decent weight works well, though a plastic tip or brass hammer can also be used.
