What is a good method for attaching the nose cap securely to the stock?
Gluing the nose cap on with five minute epoxy first, letting it set, and then installing the retaining rivets afterward makes the rivets much easier to install than trying to pin an unglued cap. Epoxy alone is not enough to hold the cap long-term, so it should always be paired with pinning.
