My trigger was fitted properly before finishing but started binding after the finish was applied. What should I check?
The cause needs to be identified before fixing it. If there was no play between the top of the trigger and the sear to begin with, filing the top of the trigger down will help, but if the binding comes from wood swelling or finish buildup, that underlying cause needs to be addressed instead.
