Is it a problem if bluing gets inside the bore of the barrel during charcoal bluing?

It generally does not cause a problem. With charcoal bluing, the whole barrel is blued at once, and often fine charcoal packed in the bore does not create issues when shooting; any residue tends to just shoot out. Scotch Brite on a lap could be used to clean it out if desired.
