How tight should under lugs fit into the barrel dovetails?
Under lugs should go into their dovetails without needing to be driven in heavily. If all the lugs are too tight, together they can put stress on the barrel and cause it to bow or spring, which is not wanted, so a slightly looser but still snug fit is preferred.
