How should the nose cap screws be finished on final assembly?

For final assembly, Kibler's recommends filing the brass nose cap screws so they sit just slightly above the surface of the nose cap, maybe a thirty-second of an inch or less, and then lightly peening them. This locks the screws in place so the threaded fasteners are not visible.
