Kibler's Longrifles Knowledge Base

How much drilling and inletting does a customer actually have to do on a Kibler's kit?

All holes for lock bolts and the trigger plate's tang bolts are already drilled and tapped, and all pin holes in the stock are already drilled. The Colonial kit has all its ramrod pipe and trigger guard holes finished as well, but the Mountain rifle still requires the builder to drill through starter holes for the under lug tabs, trigger guard, and ramrod pipes. Inlets are generally very close, with only minor material removal needed in a few spots such as the corners of the tang inlet or occasional fitting on the butt plate.
