How do you prep a cast trigger guard before installing it in the stock?
A cast trigger guard usually needs a small amount of prep work before it goes into the stock, including filing off any burrs, filing a slight draft on the edges to clean up the cast surface, removing any remaining flash or parting lines, and clearing away any leftover casting gate material. It should also be checked to make sure it is not bent, since these can sometimes need slight straightening even though Kibler's straightens them beforehand.
