How do you know a flintlock sear screw is adjusted correctly?
When the sear screw is tightened correctly, the sear should still move freely even though the screw is snug. If tightening the screw stops the sear from moving, the screw is pinching the sear, which is a quality issue since a proper lock should allow free sear movement even with the screw tight.
