How do you bring back warm tones after using tannic acid with iron nitrate?

After heating and blushing the stain as normal, an oil finish can be rubbed back into the surface, and if the result is still drab, a dye stain such as Laurel Mountain Forge honey maple or Trans-Tint amber, mixed with the oil, can be worked in to add warmth back.
