How do you bring back warm tones after using tannic acid with iron nitrate?

After heating and blushing the stain as normal, an oil finish can be rubbed back into the surface. If the result is still drab, a dye stain such as Trans-Tint amber mixed with the oil can be worked in to add warmth back. Dangler's dyes work for this too.
