How do I use the drill guide bushing to extend a pin hole?
Clamp the part snugly in its inlet near the pin location, insert the drill guide bushing through the existing hole in the wood, then run the smaller drill bit through the bushing to remove the bulk of material from the tab. Clear chips occasionally, then switch to the larger drill bit to finish the hole, since most of the material is already removed so the bigger bit will not wallow out the hole.
