How do I know where each key inlay (escutcheon) goes on a Hawken stock?
Each key inlay has small markings on its edge showing its position: one mark is inlay 1, the rear inlay nearest the breech on the lock side, two marks is inlay 2, the rear inlay on the cheek side, three marks is inlay 3, the front inlay on the lock side, and four marks is inlay 4, the front inlay on the cheek side. The dots on each inlay should face up, toward the barrel.
