Yes. The CNC machine does a good job on the Fowler's leaf carving, but there are still some irregularities that are cleaned up by hand before the customer receives the stock. This includes scraping the carved background to blend tool marks, filing to blend machined areas together, and touching up details like the volutes so the carving flows correctly.
