Do you need to fit the barrel into the stock on a Southern Mountain Rifle kit?
The barrel is checked to fit the barrel channel before the stock ever leaves Kibler's, so no fitting is typically needed. Because the tangs and the stock inlet are both CNC machined, the barrel usually goes into the stock with little to no work required.
