J.K. Hawken Rifle Kit — Step 9: Installing the Lock

With the lock at the half-cock position, install the lock assembly into the stock inlet. This should fit with little or no wood removal. Tap it into place with a mallet to ensure it is fully seated. Install the lock bolt to pull it snugly into place. The lock and stock are already drilled for this bolt, so no drilling is needed.
