J.K. Hawken Rifle Kit — Step 7: Installing the Entry Pipe

Position the entry pipe in the inlet and attempt to push or tap it into place lightly with a mallet. The entry pipe will typically fit the machined inlet, but adjust if necessary using the process previously discussed.

When fully fit, lightly squeeze it in place and install the 1/16" pin through the stock and pipe to secure it. Make sure the ends of the pin are beveled to create a small lead. The pin should fit with light to moderate taps of a small hammer. Do not force the pin if resistance is encountered.
