J.K. Hawken Rifle Kit — Step 3: Installing the Nose Cap

Using a fine file, remove any loose chips from the nose cap inlet. Place the nose cap on the stock and check for fit.

Secure the nose cap to the stock with the included machine screw. Note that the screw hole is intentionally offset to pull the nose cap towards the stock as it is tightened.

Warning: Do not over-tighten the nose cap screw. This can split the stock.
