Appalachian Barn Gun Kit (Flintlock) — Step 6: Installing the Guard

• Fit the guard to the stock using the same general process described for fitting other metal parts. The guard may have to be bent slightly for proper alignment.

• Clamp the guard tightly to the stock and continue the pre-drilled pin hole through the guard tab using the included drill guide kit.

• Install the included wood screw to fasten the rear guard extension.
