Kibler Fowler Kit — General Order of Assembly

Assemble the kit in the following order. Each step is described in detail in the sections that follow.

1. Fit barrel and tang to stock, then pin the underlugs

2. Install trigger plate and trigger

3. Install thumbpiece

4. Adjust buttplate fit if required

5. Install lock

6. Install sideplate

7. Check wood clearance for the lock’s moving parts

8. Adjust lock and trigger relationship

9. Install ramrod pipes

10. Install ramrod tip and fit ramrod to stock

11. Finish metal

12. Finish wood
