How can I achieve a high-gloss finish on curly maple wood projects, and what products do you recommend?

We generally do not aim for high-gloss finishes and typically prefer a more satin look. However, to achieve a high-gloss finish on curly maple, you might try Birchwood Casey Tru-Oil gunstock finish, which is known to produce fairly shiny, high-gloss results.
