Before using Kibler Gunstock Sealer and Finish, properly prepare the stock by sanding with progressive grits or scraping.

If using Kibler's Longrifles Iron Nitrate or other water based stain, it should be applied before using Kibler Gunstock Sealer and Finish.

The first coat of Kibler Gunstock Sealer and Finish should be applied liberally over the entire gunstock with a lint-free applicator until the wood stops soaking up the product.

Excess Kibler Gunstock Sealer and Finish should be wiped off and allowed to dry thoroughly for at least 24 hours between coats.

Sunshine helps Kibler Gunstock Sealer and Finish dry.

Multiple very thin coats of Kibler Gunstock Sealer and Finish should be applied, allowing each previous coat to dry completely for at least 24 hours, until enough finish is built up.
